The Jewish Women INVEST honeycomb symbol represents many different dimensions beginning with, and most importantly, the strength of Devorah (the Hebrew word for bee) – the fearless prophet, judge, and leader who guided the Israelite people. And, just as bees work hard to create their sweet honey, Jews have nurtured their teachings and traditions. Bees also work together to collect pollen and nectar for others, similar to the way that Jews use their learning and mitzvot for themselves and others, to enrich all.

“It is so important for Jewish women to learn about Impact Investing because studies show that women drive philanthropic decisions in families. Women do now (and will in the future) control significant pools of wealth. Our Jewish future depends on women to make intelligent and informed decisions about investing. Women investing today will determine the Jewish world of the future - and with Jewish Women INVEST, that future looks bright!”

HOW WILL WE MEET?
All sessions will take place on Zoom.
All participants will receive a short tutorial on using the Zoom platform, if needed. Several resources will be available to help with technical challenges.
WHAT'S THE COST?
The cost of participation is $360 per woman, thanks to the generous and mission-aligned support of the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Sessions will be approximately two hours in length, and will include three main components:
Jewish values teaching and integration, designed in partnership with the sage Rabbinical direction of Rabbi Mary Zamore.
Structured curriculum, presentations by field experts, storytelling, information sharing, and discussions on a variety of investment concepts designed to education and spur action.
Networking time to share updates about members’ investments and activities, and support one another in activating capital (proposed and active).
Members will be given readings and thought exercises on investing and Jewish teachings between meetings and will be encouraged to communicate with Circle members in a private Facebook group.
